Reading the menu is akin to following my (the owner's) travels over the years, eating my way across Southern China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Italy, France, Amsterdam, Kenya (where they eat with their fingers, which is my preference) and many winters in Mexico chasing my kids around, nagging them to do their homework and running interference against "Frutes Loopes."

Our produce, beans and rice are certified organic. Our chickens are free range and our meats come from a local ranch in Covelo where they are fed NO antiobiotics, growth hormones, GMO grains, or meat products. We strive to not take a life from anything that didn't have one.

Perusing the Wine List also will inform you about my proclivities, including a definite tilt to the reds. If you are wine savy, you will notice remarkable wines at reasonable prices, particularly limited or allocated vintages. That is because, as with wanting to feed cafe guests as I would my family (who are often eating and/or working there), I consider discovering great wines with my fellow afficienados in mind, buying up wine treasures and burying them in my closet for a year or three until they are truly Divine Wines, one of the great pleasures and rewards of my occupation.
